The inspirational and often hilarious true story about a New York City Stock Speculator and an Akron Ohio Rectal Surgeon and how they stumbled on to the solution for alcoholism in 1935.

This live stage production was featured as the centerpiece of the National Recovery Education Campaign presented by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. in over 100 cities in North America.

PASS IT ON was Authored, Directed and Produced by Gary K

Over the course of 10 years and 8 National Tours the role of Bill W was portrayed by Gary K and the role of Dr. Bob was portrayed by actors Richard Springle, Will Stutts and John Schile

This production was widely recognized as an innovative catalyst for recovery education, fund raising events and recovery Advocacy work. This unique inspirational true story about the history of AA raised awareness about America’s Greatest Gift to the World while raising funds to support recovery organizations from coast to coast in the United States and Canada - carrying the message of recovery to people who could not be reached any other way
